Troubleshooting
Did you know the majority of the service calls we receive are in reference to electrical issues? Before you shoot it, troubleshoot it! Here are a few things to consider if your electric powered equipment is not functioning as it should.
Power Supply
Verify that your power supply has the electrical current you need 110v/120v or 208v/220v single or three phase. Save the 10 gauge Christmas tree cord for Christmas!
Amperage
Verify that the amperage supplied by the voltage is sufficient. For example, if you have a 15amp 110volt machine, then it would be best to operate it on at least a 20amp circuit.
Size Is Over-Rated
The longer your extension cord, the less efficient the electrical current will arrive to your machine.
Shutting Off?
If your machine operates for a period of time and then shuts off, one of these situations is probably the cause: insufficient current supply, the thermal overload has tripped, or faulty switch/relay.
